How to export a CAMT.053 (MT940) file from SNS Bank

SNS Bank Transactions as a CAMT.053 File

1. Log in to your SNS account

Go to the SNS Bank login page and sign in with your personal credentials.

2. Navigate to “Rekeningafschrift” (Account statement)

In the left menu, click “Betalen, sparen of beleggen” (Payments, savings, or investments).
Then select “Rekeningafschrift.”

3. Select the desired period

Choose the date range for which you want to download your transactions.
Note that a CAMT.053 file is always one business day behind, meaning transactions from the current day are not included.

4. Choose the file format

Select “CAMT.053” as the export format.

5. Download and extract the file

Click “Downloaden” to save the file to your computer.
It will be downloaded as a .zip file by default.
Unzip the file before importing it into your accounting software.
